MAKING THE SUSTAINABLE CHOICE THE EASY ONE.
From the moment he became a father, Alon Cohen began thinking about how to do diapers better. Disposables are easy, but he couldn’t bear the fact that an estimated 258 billion diapers are being added to landfills around the world every year.
He suggested to his wife, Maytal Amir, that they switch to reusable cloth diapers instead...
She said, ‘Alon, that’s a nice idea but you’ll have to do all the cleaning. I don't have time for any more tasks, my days are busy enough. I’m not touching one soiled diaper.
He quickly learned that as well as the dirt and smells to cope with, the cleaning process wasn’t easy either. There are six steps from a soiled cloth diaper to a clean diaper.
That’s when the idea
for Pika was born.
